Hazrat Ali Ahmad Sabir Kalyari

Hazrat Ali Ahmad Sabir Kaliyari R.A is one of the most prominent and most famous Sufi Mystic of the Silsila e Chishtiyah. His father Hazrat Shah Abdul Raheem R.A was also very famous among the Auliyah Allah of that time. His mother Hazrat Bibi Hajira R.A was sister of Hazrat Baba Fareed R.A. Hazrat Ali Ahmad Sabir Kaliyari R.A was born on 19th Rabi ul Awwal 592 Hijri. He was named "Ali Ahmad" by his mother and He is well known by the names "Sabir" and "Alauddin".

He got his initial education from his father and after the death of his father he moved to "Ajodhan" towards his Uncle Hazrat Baba Fareed R.A. where he was well acquainted with the subjects of Jurisprudence (fiqah) , Tafseer, Nahav and logic.

After getting this formal education he performed Bayt on the hand of Hazrat Baba Fareed R.A and afterwards he was bestowed with Caliphate by Hazrat Baba Fareed R.A and directed to move towards Kaliyar.

His Urs Mubarik is being celebrated from 10th Rabi ul Awwal to 13th Rabi ul Awwal and thousands of people from all over the word become part of this celebration.
